What's the purpose of a spoiler on a Honda?

Zybach Posts: n/a	What's the purpose of a spoiler on a Honda? The last time I checked the spoiler is supposed to push the back of a car down thus giving it more traction, but Hondas are front wheel drive vehicles. So besides looks what purpose does the spoiler serve on a Honda?
