Side Skirt Removal

I removed the side skirts because I'm going to to paint them to match my car. I wanted to see how hard and long it was going to take to get them off. Heres what I did.

There are 2 screws that hold on each skirt. Both are located at the bottom of the front wheel well. Then, there are 3 screw clips that hold the skirt on from underneith. Unscrew the screw clips and pop them out. Then the side skirts should just slide right off.

Now they are off and ready to be painted. Good luck!

After taking the screw things off, I just slid the skirt forward and it came right off. It did take some force to get it off.

i took off my sideskirts a few weeks ago, (i park under a tree, and leaves fall down inside the gaps by my hood and down the indise of my front fenders, then make their way all the way into my sideskirts)(this IS a stock honda civic im talkin bout),

so anyways, i wanted to clean that crap out and learn more about my car at the same time, so in my repair manual

(local auto store, and many diff books for diff cars)

i learned how to take it all off, once you take all the screws off (just make sure you get em all, might me a diff # of screws for a diff trim/year car) the skirt should just slide off in the forward direction,

and to put them back on, just make sure you line up all the clips (some my wiggle crooked/loose in removal stage)(this can be a lil frustrating, but not painstakingly difficult) and slide the skirt back on.
