Screen names

How did you come up with your screen name and what does it mean. When i was signing up for the board i was pondering a s/n and there happened to be an old issue of sport compact car lying on the floor, and on the cover they had a white JDM honda integra and the headline read "JDM Fantasy" because of all of the issues about japanese cars and shops in the mag. So i took that and added 2k since i have a 2000 civic. So lets hear how you guys got your names.

I had the reason for my name a lil bit ago, To begin there is a band named Thursday i'm sure some if not more have heard of them. They have a song or poem or something called "Where the Circle Ends" from a old cd of theirs named "Waiting"
let's play a game of find waldo, here it is:

Morning red bathed ridges Stab up at the trembling blue horizon
Grey slides lazily off rooftops, lands on the incandescant ground and dies
A flock of little men touch down on the surface of the porchlight
Bronze footsoldiers return to march the twilight across our faces
Skylights ignite and explode Scattering shards of april around the room
No one even lives here
We're too busy crashing our cars every morning into the same house
Paving the same roads unwilling to walk them
And even when we extend ourselves, its only to be included
In a moment that stands still
And so often we don't struggle to improve conditions
We struggle for the right to say "we improve conditions"
And so often we form communities only to use them as exclusionary devices
And we forget that somewhere man is beside himself with grief
And somewhere people are calling for teachers but no one's answering
Somwhere a man stands, walks across the room, and breaks his nose on the door
And somewhere these people are keeping records, writing a book
For now we can call it "The Book About the Basic Flaw
Or "The Book About the Letter "A"
Or "Any Title That a Book About a Man That No One Cares About Might Have"
And as we turn the pages we call out the sounds of a vanishing alphabet
Standing here waiting

Long ago my car sported a GT40 intake and aluminum GT40 heads. I know you guys aren't big into Ford's aftermarket, but they're about the wussiest heads you can get besides stock heads. But they were on the car when I got it. The "FIED" part is just a play on words. Fortified mf'er. So no...it has nothing to do with the GT40 cars...although those are badass as well.

lol @ above...

I used to play the computer game Command & Conquer (and subsequently Command & Conquer: Red Alert), and I called myself "The General" when I played. A computer geek couldn't be more happy playing those games.

So now I just call myself 'General Dzur,' with 'Dzur' being my last name and 'General' being...um...something I think is swell.

My name came from my smile. Everybody I've come across would say that I have a big huge Kool-Aid smile...I guess the Kool-Aid man would always have a smile on his face in commercials or something...but that's where my name came from...my smile...besides, I like drinking Kool-Aid anyway...

I've always been into thermodynamics.....and thermal R&D exhaust was the very first mod to my civic. I loved it so much that I stole the word from them.... thermal

Then I boosted my D16..... Force induced' D16.... hence the word fi'd16

thermalfi'd16.....

Heh, just like my sig says. Mine's a Dazed and Confused thing if you've ever seen the movie.

I had a del Sol when I signed on here. Was looking for fun Sol puns. D and C is one of my favorite movies and if ya remember, the black guy Mel (for Melvin I think) his frosh beating paddle had "Soul Pole" burnt into it. So there ya go, SolPol.

Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

mine came from my skateboarding days (brand name), and also because that is the first song on Korn's first album. It also fits me because i have really poor eyesight. After that i decided to use that as my LAN party handle, and from there i've just used it for everything. the 34_1 means nothing, although i've kind of incorporated it into the name, i changed my lan handle to b1ind34.
