Miata's...how about not....

Ever been in a miata...they are poorly and cheaply made!
Tin cans if you ask me. I don't like them at all.

And the difference..from 94-97 is the Del Sol came with the b16 gotta remember that.

And the Del Sol..is a CRX!

The del Sol is Honda's continuation of their 2-seater line.

It goes like this:

1) CRX
2) del Sol
3) s2000

I really liked the del Sol. It was comfortable, stable, handled great, and was well-made. All in all a great car.

I wanted a del Sol for the longest time, test drove a few. I had plans to kit it and swap motors. But my parents wouldn't go for it (it was mine money, but I needed them to cosign). Oh well At least I still got a Honda, right?

I'd honestly take a Civic over a Sol any day. Del Sols just seem to be trying for that "hey! look at me" kind of thing and failing miserably. And I'm with Kool-Aid...they remind me too much of Miatas. Not in build quality...stock Miatas (and most modded ones for that matter) are rattle trap pieces of shit...but they do have a similar feel to the exterior. I'm just not down with tiny cars period. I don't care if it is lighter...it's too damn small. And I'm usually a fan of roadsters...I love the S2000s looks and performance...I just can't get around the looks of the Sols. But hey...that's just me. And what does a Ford guy know, right?

I think it depends on the person that drives it. I dunno why you would want a car that every one has instead of something that is a lil faster lighter, and has a lil more style. That is just my opinion so dont go belistic on me.

I think del sol is good for short people but lack of room. Not good as tall people can fit into sol and no room to put placed for stuff.

Sol is a body style of civic. Mostly they made in Mexico because of spanish name.

Dude do yourself, and us a favour, and think before you type.
I realize that your english is a little chopy, and I don't care. But man have you ever been in a Del Sol? OBVIOUSLY NOT!!! It's good for short people. NO! Dude I bet you money that I'm taller then you and I fit in with LOTS of room to spare. No problems. Your statement couldn't be more false. If You don't know what your talking about don't talk. Plain and simple. And to put stuff. There is 2 cargo holders behind the seats in the del sol, and the trunk is very big. I fit in mine just fine! haha..but anyway dude don't start spreading shit you don't know about. Go test drive a del sol, and own one. Then you'll know a little more about them.

del Sol's do have quite a bit of leg room. I'm 6'2" and I fit in mine just fine, with seat sliding room to spare. They've also got a big trunk. Buuut....not enough passenger room.

You wouldn't believe how many times I had to shove someone in the trunk for a trip.

IMO the del Sol is a GREAT second car, but not so great a primary car.

i think i would honestly have to take a civic over the del sol. Not too much into the look of them, especially the headlights. but, I would still buy one if I found one for cheap.

Also, you guys suck. I think the miatas look awesome. especially the new supercharged mazdaspeed ones.

How Can it be a continuation of the s2000? they started making them in 2000 and the sols last year was around 1997!

ShardsofApril the itr conversion looks the best on the del sol.

Actually there are a lot of little things on the del sol that are pre s2k.
For example..the dash...where the CD player is.

What? I said the s2000 is the continuation of the two-seater model line.

Of course it was made 2000 and after - that's why it's a CONTINUATION, ya goofs.

A few years ago I saw someone shoehorn a blown 302 into a Miata and the thing made wicked power...but I couldn't stop thinking "it's still a Miata". I read once the 80% of Miata owners are divorced women and gay men. Something to consider.

The Del Sol is a 3rd gen CRX. Yes, it is considered a civic..... it's a civic Del sol..... In Australia and Japan, it's not called Del Sol, it's a CRX. Yes, the Del Sol may look short and small outside, but it's really a comfortable ride with lots of leg room. It sits way lower than a coupe/4 door/hatch civic as well. It is heavier than an average civic but who cares, just get the B16 VTEC model. We dropped an 01 ITR motor in a 95 Sol and ran 14.4 at the track..... stock all motor. A JDM Accord or Teg front conversion will surely look tite tho.....

I like del sols ha ha....
