OUCH !!! I'd go to the emergency room. Especially if it actually popped out then back in. Sounds like it got dislocated until it popped back in. Get it checked bro. How you gonna shift quick if you can't press the clutch pedal down fast enough?????

unfortunately? i think driving an auto would be better then driving a stick if my leg was out. Make some ice, and keep taking pain killer. and just rest keep your leg comfy.

My friend tore his ACL doing the same thing. I'd go to the emergency room if its that bad. He had to have surgery, etc. for it later on.

i dont think its ur ACL, a teacher at my school ripped both of his about 1 year a part and hes a huge huge guy, he was cryin glike a lil school girl, i broke my knee cap into 4 pices 2 times, once when i was ike 6, i got hit by a car on my bike and spent about 6 months in a cast and had a surgery, second time like 3 months after i got the cast off i got a brick thrown at me and broke it again in the same exact place, and then a nother 6 months with that damn cast, it sucks i still have to get 2 more surgerys to replace some cartiliedge (i duno how to spell it) knees suck

yeah my knees are shot too...
Mine have dis-located since I was a kid in certain situations (doesn't even need to be a high stress/activity situation) It's really starting to come to surgery or else for me... they have NO idea what it is... and if you tell an orthopedest that you're knees dis-locate he'll tell you you're full of it or are mis-understanding what is happening... The knee cap can slide off to the side but the bones on the knee can't really dis-locate apparently... although It happened sooo often too me I was able to get a GOOD look at it several times (and offered to do it for the doc)... the lower portion of my leg DEFINATELY dislocates from the upper part... you can hear it sliding back in ending with a grusome sounding pop.

just rest it... ice won't do anything... I think you actually want moist heat...
Have a hot girl rub "herself" on it... Or just a warm wet towel... I'd try for option 1 though.
