Aaaaaaaahahahahaha!
**** PETA
Well...they've done it again. The wannabe hippie morons at PETA have once again stepped in some shit they won't be able to get off of their shoes. In their never-ending quest to find the single most idiotic expression of one's beliefs, they've recently released a campaign that compares photos of Jewish concentration camp prisoners along side photos of cows and chickens. Perhaps it didn't occur to these folks that the genocide of 6 million people might be a bit of a touchy subject. Now, I'm not Jewish...but I've visited Dachau and Auschwitz and these people (PETA) even managed to piss me off. I can't imagine how the majority of Jews will feel when they see that. I love animals too but for shit's sake COWS AND CHICKENS TASTE GOOD! And, in a hilariously ironic twist, the kosher (jewish) killing of a cow is probably the most inhumane way to do so short of bullfighting (which is done more for sport than meat). My thoughts were that if you want to appeal a bit more to the jewish community, why not put up a bunch of pictures of pigs instead of animals they actually eat? I think people join PETA for the same reason kids still protest at UC Berkley...they hear their parents talk about what they did as kids and will cling to anything, no matter how ridiculous, that they see as an act of rebellion. It's cool if you wanna be a vegetarian...that's your deal. But these people seem to think they're important enough to tell me what to eat. Apparently they're also willing to piss millions of people off to do it. Maybe they've got a lack of protein from not eating meat that makes them act crazy. Maybe all they need is a nice steak or a burger that's not made of soy. Fu(k 'em all...they receive the prestigious one fingered wave.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. I just don't think it's cool at all to try and force personal beliefs onto others. I think that what PETA did just makes them look like shitheads. Not to mention insensitive to an HUGE population of people that all share the same religon. I think that using the genocide of 6 million people as a basis of comparison to us killing cows and chickens is just an insult to the people that died. We eat cows and chickens because for a the majority of people, that is nature. That is the food chain. If you want to be a vegetarian, that's cool. I'm not going to try and tell you that you should eat meat. In addition to that I own coats that have fur. And if someone were to ever throw paint on me and ruin them, they'd get an asskicking back to the 60's.

Yeah, I'm not down with eating the animals that are pets. I had ducks and I would never eat duck.

Well...I'm not a fan of vegetarianism, but some people do it because they don't like the taste of meat. I can't fathom how you couldn't like meat, but as long as you're not trying to make a statement by being a vegetarian then I'm fine with it. But then you've got vegans. These people should be force fed raw ground beef for their pure stupidity. Not eating meat is one thing, but not eating cheese, eggs, milk, yogurt etc is just ridiculous. I seriously doubt it's a terrible inconvenience to a cow to get milked. And if no one bought eggs and they were all allowed to hatch you'd have a serious chicken population problem. Plus they won't wear any leather or use any sort of animal byproduct. I don't own anything leather or fur but f$#kin lighten up. Bottom line...cows are stupid enough that, if given the chance, they will eat themselves to death so who knows what else they're stupid enough to do. And big thanks to mt. biker for posting the pic and clarifying my original statement. Look kids...I love animals as much as anyone and I'm not a big fan of killing animals for fur or clothing...we have cotton and polyester and denim for that but hey...some people do like it and I won't tell them what to do. And I don't like the idea of killing dogs and cats for food but you'd do it too if that was the only food you could get and it was culturally acceptable. Hell, during the second world war some of the poorer countries in the asiatic peninsula actually sold children for meat to get money to survive...then others ate said children. Is it nice? No. But you do what you have to in order to survive.
