skunk2 cams
the skunk2 web page says the skunk2 stage 1 cams can be used with a stock valve train. is this true? does anybody have stage 1 cams with a stock vavle train? if so, how reliable would it be?

you should be fine w/ the stage 1 cams on a stock valvetrain. i know of quite a few people running that setup is gsr's and they have no problems.

But if its all the same, i'd still get better springs and retainers with the cams.

PS, be sure to get cam gears and some dyno time to get maximum performance from these camshafts

i'd say get the springs and retainers... if your gonna take the head apart, might as well swap those stock springs/retainers..it'll save you time and money
