wastegate problems agian.
Is there any way to see if the wg is opening or not? For some reason im not getting any boost and i trouble shoot it to being the wastegate. Is there anyway to see if the spring is working properly?
im working on my friends car. its a turboed laser.

in other words, you've checked all the piping for any signs of leakage right? To check the wastegate, move the rod side to side. The only way to acurately check it is to take the whole turbo assembly out and hook up a pressure gauge with pressure source to the diaphragm. Once you do that then observe the gate open as you apply pressure on the diaphragm

it'll take a few hours of fabrication. You will have to find a way to keep the internal gate shut or open if you place the external gate somewhere on the manifold runner/collector
