hmm...which car to choose...
My employees and I at Ced's Auto Tuner of Burlington, NJ are currently in the planning of a new, radical project. If you've ever been down to south jersey, or some of the little "get togethers" on the rural city streets of philly, you might have seen some of my work. We take regular (well, not regular...stock) automobiles of the top 4 import manufacturers (honda/acura, toyota, mazda, nissan) and turn them into unbelievable street machines that are very pleasing to the eye. Anyway...we want to take on a new project, and we are currently in the dilemma of choosing which canvas (car) to work on. I don't want to build up a Civic coupe or HB because, well...personally, i think there are 2 many of 'em. What do you guys think?

Mazda Protege`
Hands down. Those cars have some potential. I agree that Civics have been over done as shop projects.

hmm...i think i'm gonna look into the legend. an insight?? isn't that the hybrid car by honda? anyway, what engine should i swap the legend block with? i was thinkin' on the lines of b16, but seein' as the engine compartment is bigger, i could probably go for somethin' bigger. fabrication isn't a big issue, but we can't do somethin' impossible (no ferrari blocks in my legend). what do u guys think?

a b16 would be waaaay under powered for a legend. i'd personaly say a c32 (nsx engine) it would be some fabrication, but it proboly could be done. or do a twin engine preldue

conversion work is fun(not!!)... or at least shows ingenuity... makes your car different than all others... and thats what he's going for... so why not? plus you get all the power you want plus availability of all the nsx engine tricks of the trade

hmm...i could take the legend, put the c32 in it, and find (or make) a custom driveshaft to make the car rwd. i'd probably run into a bunch of legal shit when it comes to the driveshaft, but there's gotta be a way around it. also, the h32 sounds like a good idea. i'll look into both of 'em, but i'm leanin' towards the nsx block.

well, whatever i end up doin', i'm gonna record (photograph) the entire process and post it on my garage's new site that i'm workin' on. it seems like waves travel faster on the net, so, even though we're doin' pretty good, i hope to get some more business
