Did you know
Did you know that integra front calipers bolt directly up to 92-00 civic ex and 99-00 si? (You will need 15" wheels...Im lucky and my old 14" barely clear - by less than 1cm.)
Did you know that all civic/integra/del sol rear disc's bolt up to all civics/del sols? Did you know that Del Sol Vtec's have 1/2 length dual core radiators? (Its a good upgrade from the stock civic one... $100 at most auto parts stores.) Did you know that changing your o2 sensor can improve mpg? (Do it right, get denso first-time-fit or oem) Did you know that the 92-95 stock civic vx had an air diffuser for the rear bumper? (It really helps minimize drag.) Did you know that you can calculate compression for a Bseries engine here: http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/c...c/compcalc.php Did you know that factory Del Sol seats were designed by Recaro? Did you know that the b20a, in the older preludes, is the only Bseries that doesnt share the same parts as the other Bseries? Did you know that JDM itr's have 36mm axles, instead of 32mm? Did you know that 6th gen coupes and sedans have the same rear bumper, but all 96-98 and 99-00 are different? Did you know that this thread was stupid, but we need to get this place going again? What good 'Did you knows' do you have? |

did you know that using less anti-freeze and more water in your coolant mix will keep the engine cooler?

that's a pretty sick idea. So in theory...
i could go to the junkyard and grab the front calipers off any teg... then buy larger brake rotors for a civic, and hope to hell they work and with a little luck, i could have better braking performance for under 2 bills....

not ANY integra, 94+.
Integras, civic ex/si (minus eh3) and del sel si/vtec all have the same rotors. If you choose to do it, I HIGHLY recommend a larger brake master cylinder and booster. I have a 1" (itr) and it feels like my old stock ex brakes w/ drums (I wonder how soft it gets w/ itr calipers) You can get a 1" unit from passwordjdm for under $100; 15/16ths for even less. Should I have done a how-to? |

did you check out my how-to?
its fairly simple. Id rate it a 2/5. Installing springs and shocks is harder. The hard thing about it is getting the hard lines to line up...its tedious. As long as you get a GOOD line-wrech for the lines, its simple as long as you follow what I did. |

yeah it seems like a feasible project....
found the booster/mc for 69 bucks, so this may turn into a winter project...

Dont ask me why... |

fine turd heads...
Did you know that if youre building a b20b/z motor you need custom pistons because its the only 84mm honda bore? (So no ctr pistons) Did you know that you can get filter screens for your oil filters? (Much easier to look at that than cut the filter open) Did you know that honda's new oem coolant is blue and comes pre-mixed 50/50? Did you know that you can install an integra ls 5th gear set onto a b16 or gsr tranny to make it longer for highway cruising and better mpg? Did you know that you can just put your stereo in the lower din of any 96-98 civic? 99-00 cannot. Did you know that there were NO factory white civic hatches 96-98? Did you know that strut bars w/ hinges/pivot points do almost absolutely jack shit? You need a solid bar - 3pt is best. Did you know that the b16b is really a b18c R block w/ a b16 crank? It really is a destroked b18c R....really really. Did you know that all Kseries have some form of vtec? You dont have to do ls/vtec anymore...you just swap the head of a rsx-s onto it and BAM better ivtec in your crv. The TSX also has the good ivtec and its 2.4L...yummy Did you know that the new type r integra and civic share the same k20a? Did you know that the base rsx and new civic si share the same engine? Theres some Kseries facts for you |

Yes, you have to write in in all caps because it stands for Perfectly Awesome...."T"
or It just has to be yelled Did you know that almost all of Spoon's products are actually made by some other company and then sold by spoon with a price hike? Those same products, from the manufacturer, are still sold, badged as non-spoon, for lower prices. Spoon bars have pivot points - you know that that means |

OEM gsr/civic si is a fine bar that you can usually get for under $40.
There are also good mugen knock-off bars on ebay for around $50. Just look for ones with NO hinges - IE http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tego ry=33591 A carbing 3pt bar (or similar) is going to be the best since it also attaches to the firewall. They are expensive though...and not really worth it IMO http://www.rcdevelopments.com/manufa...ing-3point.jpg Strut bars dont really do that much...dont shell out big bucks. A large diameter rear sway and subframe reinforcement combo will work wonders for handling. |

i really think those are crap since the firewall is just some sheetmetal. look at your video that you posted for the brake mc brace and see how much the firewall moves.

^those also bolt onto civic ex/si and integras. But the prelude vtec rotor needs to be redrilled to 4x100 to utilize it best.
AND a spacer must be used on both sides of the rotor, or it wont clear the caliper. Can be done though |
