Some advice for the guys....
Due to last nights events at Hammerjacks (a dance club in Baltimore), I feel it’s necessary to inform all you guys about proper dance club behavior:
1. Humping does not qualify as dancing! It’s not particularly enjoyable for the girl. Except if she’s a hummper also. 2. Ask before you glue your crotch to our ass. We’re more likely to dance with you if you ask. The worst thing you could hear is no. 3. Give us a break between partners. If you see that we just finished dancing with one guy, wait a little while and give us a breather. 4. Bad breath is nasty! If you’ve been drinking, please, for the sake of the girls you’ll be dancing with, pop an Altoid, mint or piece of gum. We don’t really appreciate dragon breath down our necks or while you’re trying to talk to us. 5. No roaming! It makes it very uncomfortable for us when your hands roam to certain parts of our bodies. We just want to dance, not be molested! This concludes tips on proper club behavior. Feel free to add your own! And do the guys have any for the girls?

Same goes for girls.. Uhh.. Sometimes..
 When I use to go out to clubs, I hated it when nasty chicks tried that stuff..  It wasnt complaining to much if she was hot though. (except the bad breath thing)

I know what you mean, but some girls like the womdering hands. I'm not going to grab your breast or nothing, but sometimes maybe a hand on the back depending on how we're dancing. Sometimes a little hand on the a$$ depoending on how the mood is and if the girl is down.
I know what you mean though. Some guys know how to play it and some don't. "If a girl say's no, it MEANS NO!!" <----Deal with it....

Maybe girls should ask before grinding their asses in guys' crotches as well? I know too many guys who have been in the dance clubs and complain that some chick just starts grinding her ass in his crotch, and as he backs up so does she.
I think bad breath goes for anybody. b |

My biggest gripe is the "not getting a breather" in between dance partners. I have absolutely NO problem dancing with guys as long as it's in moderation.
the only other "rules" I would add to Erin's list is: If you aren't all that good of a dancer (and trust me you know if you are or you aren't!) let the girl lead. More than likely if you've been eyein her up, she's got some pretty good moves. So, you finally grow the balls to ask her to dance and she says yes (she was watchin you watch her....hence the reason she was dancing like she was....thats a lil known trick I don't think guys know about) and you start humping her. This is an automatic turnoff for most girls. Just stand there and let her do her thing. You'll probably enjoy it a lot more. Also...try to keep "things" where they are "supposed" to be. Being "poked" in the ass isn't all that cool especially if you don't know the girl. Yes I know that some girls are quite sexual when they dance and they are hot and things tend to get aroused. But just keep this in mind....it's a lot cooler if you don't get so aroused right off the bat.(Just think of Jim from American Pie....you get the idea...) Think of something non-sexual...like Margret Thatcher or Janet Reno or a chair or your mom.....something.

 I've given up on the club scene! I always end up getting almost knocked over b/c people get so close to me. (& I'm little!)Either that or you get squished between 2 guys & they're both dancing, but you can't move!  Sux. |
