I think I'll be on both sides of the force soon. I found a 1990 CRX for sale for $300. Since I need a winter beater, I'm really thinking about it. plus after spring time, I can build up that one too. Def. engine swap coming. It has 270,000 mi. Still seems to run ok but needs quite a bit of bodywork. I think there's more bondo on the outside than paint. For $300 I won't complain though, most that 5h1t can just be replaced

Cool.. man you gotta love those little CRX's they run for ever.. I had one and got rid of it. I put a racing clutch in it, that was the only thing done to it, it would break traction through 3 gears.. on a completely stock motor I could believe it.

If their is one thing I hate doing...it's looking for cars...I like looking at cars....but when Im in the market..it seems like all their is is $hit.

yeah but, I'm just looking for something to beat on for the winter and MAYBE tear down, gut out and fix up in the spring. That all depends on what I end up getting. I WANT a CRX but don't NEED one. I already have a pretty decent car, I just don't want to drive it on snowy, salty roads. Plus, since I'm boostin, I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep it ON those snowy roads!

What makes it worse is when you cant find what your looking for so you get something close, then like a month later you find something better then what you were looking for.. Now that suck

Yeah, that happened to me when I bought my first Eclipse. Got stuck with an AT and then I saw a 5 speed a month later WAY cheaper than I paid for my car.
