1.8? I believe VW's engine sizes are as follows..
2.0 4cyl 1.8T turbo 4 cyl 2.8 V6 2.9 VR6 then there is the W8, but that's a luxury car. I don't believe VW makes the 1.8 n/a four anymore. The stopped making those around 90-91. I am a VW enthusiast also, with a 1988 Jetta that has a ton of mods.
