Corvete arn't ugly, and the're safe. I've drove one befor. One of the thing that make them safer, is their great handling. And their body is made of fiberglass. And in 2004 the'll look even better.

Corvette:
(All) dual front airbags, antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, antiskid system, tire-pressure monitor, daytime running lights
(Above + Z06) head-up instrument display.
60-0 Braking, ft. 134.00
80-0 Braking, ft. 214.00

Civic:

(All) dual front airbags, emergency inside trunk release.
(Above + EX) antilock brakes
(Above + Si) 4-wheel disc brakes
60-0 Braking, ft. 134.00
80-0 Braking, ft. 235.00

I would put the NHTSA's rating but there not posted for the corvette.
