Where do you plan on using the camera?

If you're looking for a high quality camera, get a 5 MP one....they take beautiful images. My bro's got a Sony Mavica one and it's pretty tight, but large.

If you want portability to take to parties and stuff that fits in your pocket, around 3 MP will be good. There's a bunch of decent cameras in that range.
