I'm not sure If I trust myself or my friends to install it. I've heard most probs with turbos come from either a bad install, cheap parts, or not letting it idle when starting or stopping. I'd love to save that 1000 bucks, but I'm not sure if me and Tightteg could do it all ourselves.....installing the intercooler....all the oil lines and stuff......i don't think soooo, maybe i'm wrong, but I'll start researching just in case.
