so far i have had very good luck buying amps on ebay
(knock on wood)
i always e-mail the owner a few times and ask a string of very specific questions
i have a kenwood mono amp that i bought 8 months ago which has been working perfectly running a 10" sub

the speakers i am getting are rated at 150watts RMS this is one of the reasons that i want to run them off of an amp and not my deck, my old speakers were rated at 80watts and i powered them off of my kenwood deck that gave them 22watts RMS and they sounded great
so i am looking for an amp that puts out in the range of 50 to 75 watts continuous as i feel that will give me enough power to make the speakers sound good

i'm looking to spend around 150 tops
ideally i would like to spend less than 100
but that is tough given what i want

thanks for the suggestions
Sean
