Unless you'll be adding any forced induction or major motor upgrades, considering hp gains on an exhaust is kinda silly. But yes, there will be gains..
 For a sweet sound, replace the piping from the front to the back with 2.25-2.5 inch. And finish off with a Remus or Brullen muffler. (I'm getting mine, this week..  )
