This is a shot in the dark, but I guess that's all you have by making that mistake.

Call Honda Support, not a dealer, but the Head Office Support. If you own the car, have the VIN, they should be able to tell you exactly what you need to know. I've dealt with Ford (my other car is a 66 Mustang). They told me everything, down to what time my engine was turned over for the first time.

Maybe you'll get lucky. Manufacturers keep detailed logs of these things for recall purposes. You may have the exact same car as your friend same year and everything but his fuel pump was put in at 2:00am and yours was 5:00pm his could be recalled and not yours. Just a tidbit of info.
