Well here's my two-cents - for what it's worth.

A little background
Once upon a time, in a land far far away, a website was born - and they called it 'HondaStyle'.... heh... Seriously - when I finally had the website completed around a month or so ago, I sent out some emails to some of the other popular Honda sites out there. The purpose of the email was to simply introduce myself to my Honda website peers. The responses I got (which were few) were surprising to say the least.

The plot thickens
I was simply ignored by some (so be it) - and actually, the funny thing was to see one particular owner (I'll give you a hint - it was nobody from ph, sh or h-t) register for the boards (thus obviously receiving my email) but not bothering to respond - not even one word. << Brrrrr >>. Other's sent me less than friendly emails (get a life). Call me crazy, but I would think it to be much more productive for Honda enthusiasts to work together. Competition is not bad and should not be approached as though the competitor is "the enemy". Look at the major retail stores. Believe it or not, when the retail chains open near each other, it can actually increase business. Why? Because it increases common traffic - one store gets you out of the house and into 'shopping mode' - if you don't find what you need from the first store, then you go to a neighboring store. It doesn't mean you'll never return to the first store. You simply increased your options. Just an analagy, but you get the idea.

A happy ending
So why the long story? To put the ending into context: Purehonda is the only site that has extended any type of courtesy to me. Hats off to Drumsy who has been nothing short of fantastic. There is no disputing that PH has vast technical resources and the rush-hour of message boards. As for any rude treatment... well consider the userbase. It would be nearly impossible for them to control each member's every word. Face it, larger userbase just means that the odds are increased of occasionally running into a jerk.

So for what it's worth. I am defending PH

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
