Help on wheels/srings
Alright here's the deal...I have a 90' honda accord LX coupe. It's pretty basic for now. I'm thinking of purchasing 17' wheels w/ 215/40/17 tires. I also want to drop the car. Here's my questions. How far can I drop the car without needing a camber kit. Will these tires be too wide and start rubbing the fender every time I hit a bump? What's a good drop looking drop without killing my tires?

Well, if you don't want a camber kit, stick with a 1.5" drop or less. Eibach pro-kit would be great for that. Though you can technically run on stock struts, it would be a great idea to upgrade the struts while you're at it to save labor.
With that said and done, if you're worried about rubbing, you'll need to make sure you get the correct offset wheels. +42ish should be good for your Accord. You'll be fine with the 1.5" drop. To save your tires and performance, make sure you get an alignment immediately after you drop your car. Hope that helps, and good luck

100% Ditto.. KYB AGX would be a good choice for shocks.

you can pick up 215/45/17 if you want.... and you'll still be fine...
as for the camber issue... you can drop as much as 2"... but usually depends... some need some dont.... but majority of the time 2" you'll be fine.... 1.5" is just playing it safe..... 2" drop will loo better tho |
