ok, but was the shebly a kit car? i see to many of those KIT cars in iowa. i like hemi cudas but wouldnt buy. i would restore one!

No way man...you'd never see a Shelby kit car at an auction like the ones RM puts on. It was an honest to god 427 S/C. The Cuda did have the 426 Hemi, but fuck...$2.2M? That's absolutely ridiculous. It's not like those things are ultra rare. Sure, they don't exactly grow on trees, but that's a $150K car at most. Even the guys who were commenting on the auction said it was way too high.
