so how does this include American citizens?:

Sec. 948c. Persons subject to military commissions

`Any alien unlawful enemy combatant is subject to trial by military commission under this chapter.

`(3) ALIEN- The term `alien' means a person who is not a citizen of the United States.

Or did I look up the wrong Military Commissions Act?

Maybe the new one is a revision. I know in the past it applied to non citizens, but the bill that recently went through does apply to US citizens.
