I've grown up in schools down in the ghetto and personally I would feel a lot better without them. They drop the schools grade from an A to a D. They put the program I'm in at the school to gain attraction to smarter kids... It didn't really work except for the us, the CAT kids.

I've also become very racist against them strictly because the stereotypes are true around here usually. Hell the black kids are even racist against themselves.

Apparentally all the poor academic black kids try to fail the classes so they don't get high grades because it would ruin their social status and other blacks would call them "white-washed." It's pretty bad. Oh and they stab people at the local subway and blow up cars at the local taco bell and rape 9 girls in a matter of 5 months at my middle school.

I'm not racist against the nice/smart black kids but those are the ones that are called "white-washed." Soooooo I realllly don't think they are black *note the sarcasm*... >_<

I know this wasn't meant to be a referendum on race in the U.S. (mainly because Ben didn't even come close to spelling "racist" properly ). but here's my $.03:

Blacks (and yes, I refuse to refer to them as "African Americans"...basically because hardly any of them are actually from Africa) straddle a really weird line in this country. On one hand, if they have a good education and try to make something of themselves they become an Uncle Tom...a slave to the white man's game (in the eyes of most other blacks). On the other hand, if they slack off, do nothing, get shitty grades, and commit crimes then (sadly) many other blacks will positively re-enforce their behavior while it becomes almost impossible to go anywhere in life. The message that the black community at large doesn't help either. Young blacks (especially males) are basically told that to improve their situation they have one of two options...play sports or become a rapper. The reality is that, although kids believe that they'll become famous so they don't need to focus much on schoolwork, the chances of them actually attaining that goal are slim to none.

And while I'm thinking about it, Jesse Jackson should take a nice warm bath with a hairdryer, radio, and toaster (all plugged in of course). That fucking moron has done nothing but set people back by endorsing their dependance on the "white man's" system (a.k.a. government assistance).

hahaha, i agree with you steve. but you cant say that there whole "race" is like that. some do try hard and make it. while 80% dont.
