CRT using more power, is heavier, bigger and contains more lead. LCD is just new, lighter, smaller, uses less power and contains very little lead.

I hear you steve its a big deal for no reason. However I personally find it easier to work on an LCD monitor then a CRT for some reason. Easier on the eyes I guess.

My TV however is a 32inch CRT and that wont change until we move. I think when space becomes a concern or you're looking for the TV to be less 'in your face' you look at flat TV's.
