got x-rayed
well i dont know if anyone read my rant a few days ago about how bad my thumb hurt but long story short a week and a half ago i was playing basketball, blocked a pass and hurt my thumb. put a splint on it and dealt with the pain thinking it was just sprained. bitched and moaned for a week or so about how bad it hurt and i found that my right thumb might be the most important thing we as humans have.
today i finally gave in and went to have a real doctor look at it, waited for about an hour in 4 different rooms on campus in our new health center(which is very badass now that i got a pretty big tour) got it x-rayed a couple of times and turns out it the tip of my thumb was broken. they gave me some pain killers and sent me on my way. now i godda go see an orthopedic doctor to have him look at it to see if it needs to be set or whats the deal with it. i got picks below of the x-rays. you can see if where they drew the arrows right above the knuckle. i knew something was wrong when it was bending there on my finger.. heh.

damn chris nice job thats an odd place to break haha
thats not too bad my lower back has been killing me the last 4 days. i can't skateboard without wanting to die..yesterday the girlfriend gave me a huge hug and I felt like I had been hit by a truck when she leaned back and extended my back....god....

hurting your back does suck, i remeber i was stuck in bed for 3 days after pullin mine. but this thumb is a whole new shittyness. imagine everything you do hurts now all of a sudden. the thumb helps so much... damnit...

i wish i was in a cast.. then i'd look legit. ive got a splint on my finger that lets me try to do about 80% of the shit i normaly can.. but i cant because it hurts so much.

Oh yeah man. that's a nice fracture. Good job. I hate being hurt like that. Makes you feel kind of uselss.
