Like steve said there are only 12 symbols (one per month) so they have a 11 out of 12 chance of getting it wrong
and the fact that you can only choose 3 numbers that again reduces the chances of them getting it wrong 2 out of 3. I was doing it and it got it wrong a few times. it's all based on probability.
