Does anyone really NEED 600hp on a daily basis? Hell no..
Would I want a 600hp car on a daily basis? Fuck YEAH! Ultimately, the decision is up to you. It's your car, but if I could build a reliable 600hp car that I could drive daily, I'd do it in a heart beat. You don't have to you 100% of the power at all times, but it would be fun as hell when you want it. That's just my opinion.

The problem isn't that it's not reliable, but the block isn't supposed to be able to handle that much power. This will be the third time I've pulled it out for a refresh. The last block I had I cracked in short order (the one I have now is thicker and stronger). I'm just wondering if I want to keep this up or if I wanna toss in a crate motor and forget about it for 100K miles.

I can completely understand that. Performance always comes at a price. I guess you should just ask yourself, will you be happy with a less powerful car that you can just drive. Or would you drop in the NA crate, then start wishing you had more?
