i believe the tranny in a 90 civic is cable operated while the 92 is hydraulic, if so you might need a conversion kit from a place like hasport or something. but seeing as how the original tranny is auto I'm not sure how that'd work, i guess you'd just need all the hydraulic bits out of a 92+ civic. other than that they're both dseries engines so it should bolt right up. good luck.

oh are you gonna swap in the engine too? I would if it was in good condition.
