There's a civic around here that has a hard time dynoing because it slides off the dyno really easy.. It's something like 500hp

Something's not right there. I've seen cars with morepower than I'm guessing that hot rod has that dynoed just fine. If I had to guess, I'd say shitty straps or it just wasn't on right to begin with.
