i think she deserves it, if she got away with it then what would she had learned?
that she can do shit like that and not be punished for it other than time out? they should do it more often

I feel the same. I dont understand how kids can get like that? Reading the column made me even more pissed off. I'm glad I wasnt the teacher. I dont know what I would've done. It was even mentioned that the teachers were instigating or being too close to the kid causing the situation to become worse.... WTF? There is no way in hell that I would leave a kid like that by herself. She would've destroyed the whole room and hurt herself! Then it would've been a more serious lawsuit. Either way, I give props to the teacher.

Took them long enough. That kid needed to get smacked.
Its really obvious that she only ever hears "Dont do that" without any repercussions. Maybe this will teach her a lesson. Brats piss me off |

I give the teacher props.. I would have knocked the little brat cold out. If I ever had a kid and it acted this way I'd probably be in prison.:o

You notice how one of the cops says hi to the girl and then "remember me?" like he'd dealt with her at least once before? The he proceeds to tell her something like "last time I saw you I told your mom I was gonna put ya in handcuffs". Sounds like fair warning to me. I saw Al Sharpton talking about this today. The man can't shut his fucking mouth about anything. I wonder how long it takes Jesse Jackson to throw his hat in as well. If there's a news camera around, you know he's close by.

holy shit.. if my kid ever acted like that they would be beaten six days from tuesday.. I agree this was the right thing to do.. but where the hell is the mother.. teach your kids some damned respect... i swear if the mother had control this whole thing woulda been avoided in the first place.. i swear if my kid every began to act like that.. he/she and I would have one serious talk and one serious beat down.. I give props to the teacher for being as patient as she was cause I would not have been and I probably woulda been the one being arrested.
