So I realize..
...That not everyone is qualified to be working on cars.
I was just doing some bored browsing over at other forums (rib's out again today - not doing much)...man the world is full of idiots! One guy, was concerned about that foam piece behind the bumper being loose, and if that was dangerous. The same guy, makes another post on how his HX's shift light keeps turning on, at low rpm, and wanted to know why it was "acting weird" because he didnt want to shift then. Another guy, claiming to be a licensed tech, wanted to know if he could bolt a "v-tec" d17 head onto his 01 dx. When people corrected him, he said they were all wrong - "Im the tech here!". Someone else couldnt figure out that the reason his swaybar didnt bolt up, was because the hose for the lca's were f/r and the ones on the bar were l/r. Claiming he had all the parts, he was dismissing those who said he forgot endlinks. Another guy gutted his upper ek grille for mesh, but when he couldnt get it on in time for whatever, he was concerned that "stuff might get through it and get into the engine"...like the little H emblem was creating a force field around itself. "Will I have to make modifications to anything? I want to get a 3" downpipe and connect it to my stock cat...will it bolt up perfectly?" I just got irritated from all this today (medication side effect you know...I get pissed really easily when I take it) |
