ok, the first thing it could just be a loose connection where they tapped into your parking light circuit, if it's a civic it's in the driver side kick panel. it's a small red wire with a black stripe. Check that or it could be a setting on your remote.

Now the door thing, if it's a civic try this. Turn off the dome light so it never comes on, and try it again. I doubt they diode isolated each door circuit. If you dont' use your dome light that could be an easy fix. Let me know how it goes.
