I have to take that shit too. I took it last semester and dropped it because it's just so much bullshit. I'm going to petition the auto tech dean to see if I can't get it waived because, let's face it, nobody needs to know it. Not even artists. It's worthless.

Dude...I kicked psychology's ass. The only college class I've come away from with an A besides my two poli-sci classes...Poli-Sci 101 and Amer. Natl. Govt. I'm thinking of minoring in psych.

from what i remeber of my firneds taking that class... they'd have ~140 paintings to memorize. have to know who painted them and why they are significant. that was one test. they flashed the painting up on the screen so you could see it then asked questions about it. now the tests were usually "only" on 60 of the possible ~140 paintings, but you can see how and why this class would suck

Since you probably already bombed the test, next time try using flashcards if you didn't already. I took two art history classes in college and have this big stack of index cards with the pictures glued to them to show for it. The classes weren't that bad, since during class all we did was sit in the dark looking at slides... it was basically nap time. When midterms come around, spend a week cramming and then forget everything afterwards.
