Mind you I was driving a Volvo station wagon (our rental car) and it was only for about 20 or 30 miles, but man it's a blast. It's a little scary though. I was doing around 90 or 100mph (my best calculation...stupid metric speedometers) and more than once a Porsche flew by us like we were in reverse. Oh...and forget about pothole or tar-plugged creases...that thing's all flat. Even though the U.S. highway system is based on the autobahn, it's pathetically inadequate.

this is really late and really off topic but what the hell..you graduated at 16 years?
