i like my 2nd and 3rd gear, vtec is most noticeable in through em and I like the feeling of being push into my seat

hmm they're all pretty good, 5th sucks, 4th is okay going fast on back roads, 3 is sick to drop on the highway
 , and i like first because if i hold the rpm's just right (5K-5K) and let off and nail it i can get it to break the tires loose as it transitions to vtec oh and reverse SUCKS. seriously if my car rolls one inch it won't engage and is a pain in the ass. wish it was synchronized.

I like 3rd gear...but when I used go up into the mountainous boonies to go see my friend...I would stay in 4th going up those hills...

any gear that makes me pick up speed is a good deaR I Guess....but mainly 1-3 because i can chirp those

me from another forum (im the top geekz0r) the geekz0r (11:03:46 PM): basicly, look at it this way...the 6speed is the same is the 5speed in 2,3,4,5,and 6...only the speeds are different because of the fd the geekz0r (11:04:16 PM): so 2nd pulls like 1st in the 5speed, 3rd is like 2nd, etc. PortugeeTex (11:04:26 PM): so whats 1st like then? the geekz0r (11:04:49 PM): 1st is like hitting a cheeta in the ass with a tazer PortugeeTex (11:04:53 PM): lmfao |

5th is the only gear I don't like... I'm sure if I had more power I'd like it... but 3rd is definately my new favorite... it used to be 4th... but now if I'm doing like 40-60 on the highway and I drop to 3rd... it RIPS... it's fun...

mine is 1-3 because i get great accelaration 4th and 5th blow asss but it will be even better when i get my h22 swap cant wait

hmm... it depends....
1st gear - in parking lots, nice churp + whiplash 3rd gear - 50mph to redline (9k up to 85mph) MMMMMMMMM, OH and feeling vtec engage at 6k... NOW THAT IS A TURN ON in the civic... 3rd WOT shifting into 4th. Anyone else love the sound of WOT shifting? Jonda, you don't count. |

Has to be 3rd or 4th for me. I love love LOVE quick-shifting from 3rd and slamming into 4th...dunno...that's always appealed to me.

2nd. i can fly around corners and it pulls like a mofo. i can always chrip in and out of 2nd gear and well... its most suited for the type of speeding i enjoy. 3rd gear im doin 65+ to really have a decent amount of power then its mostly strait line and thats.... no fun
