Ok...Im not talking about material things...I am talking about when you go out on a date (the movie and dinner thing). I don't ever expect a guy to buy me gifts/material things...it's just when you go out on dates I think he should pay. I buy my own material things...nobody else...that way if you break up with someone...that material thing sits there and reminds you of them....thats why I don't accept any gifts from guys really.
If I was goin out with a guy and he was broke...you damn right I would pay for him...that would be messed up to leave him hangin like that...I always offer to pay...but not all the time.
