I guess with me I've always ended up as the loner most of the time anyways but I have also noticed that when they call me into the group I'm clueless about what/who their talking about so its like what do I have to add/include which is usually nothing and if I leave and come back I'll actully be supprised if anyone noticed I "disappeared" for awhile so it leaves me feeling that way
