I love my skunk2 dual bend...I used to have a B&M that rattled w/o rubber washers and was waaaay too far away for me to enjoy. I dont think I could comforably go back to a stock civic shifter.
The difference of the bends is how close the knob will be to you and the angle of it. The dual bends tend to be closer Just remember...shifting faster wears synchros quicker. DO NOT "race/quick shift" all the damn time. Shift slowly...like grandma does. Cheaper shifters are known to break, literally in 1/2, when it comes time to race (legally!). On a side note, a lot of people just change to a stock integra or sometimes del sol shifter. Both are "shorter" than civics and you retain stock quality. Neither of them are as short as aftermarket...which may be good if you think youre going to be slammin gears all the time....................no self-restraint |
