my accord started smoking through the same place when piston rings fried. after replacing them no more smoke. just make sure when you take the engine apart to have your cylinder head checked out ,better yet upgraded so you dont have to take it apart again. might as well get new rods and pistons and rings head gasket etc....

if thats too much for you just swap in a jdm\usdm engine for your car and call it a day. ( i should have done this with the money i spent rebuilding). hey thermal is that what you did with your teg?

about the turbo if you cant afford a brand new one just have it rebuilt like i did. they balance it and replace all the little parts you dont see. it will come out like new. good luck
