Actually in the parts of the world where AIDS is the biggest problem (subsaharan Africa), they begged the pope to lift the papal sanction on using condoms and the fucker refused. Now...among a heavily catholic population, did that stop the spread of AIDS? Of course not. AIDS is merely spread through stupidity these days. A while back people just didn't know and they didn't test for it when giving blood. Really the only way to get it now is through unprotected sex or sharing needles. Either way, you're an idiot for get it (unless you're in the almost non-existent situation where you come across infected blood and handle it with an open wound). But I've said it before and I'll say it again...it's better to fuck one person a whole lot than it is to fuck a whole lot of people once.
