This is true, but people are undeniably biased against certain actors. Everyone has actors they don't like for one reason or another. For instance, I can't stand Jennifer Lopez. Her presence has ruined some otherwise decent movies in my opinion. Decent plots...but just seeing her there set me against the movie from the word go. It's different if said actor doesn't have a starring role, but you can't ignore that some people will dislike a movie solely for the way it's cast, plain and simple.

As for the critics, I don't ever listen to them and I don't think many people do. Seems like I watch everything they hate anyway. That said, there's so many of these people that it's impossible to alienate them all.

So I'm still not seeing it because I can't stand Ashton Kutcher and while I do like most of the stuff Ethan Suplee's been in, something tells me his role isn't enough to save it.
