The flat edge/end should go on the top. Break out the rust eater, wd40, liquid wrench, or PB blaster and spray it on all the bolts the night before. Give it a few squirts, especially each of the lower strut bolt. Those seems to give me a hard time on any Honda. Goodluck. It should be fun
