well they sure as hell do now, check out the problems with the qr25de, i'm already on my third motor.

as for the ser, check with forced induction racing about a bolt on turbo kit for it, the owner has a 2001 SE sentra with a sr20de in it putting down around 400whp. so same motor but you'll have the better tranny. or yeah go for the gti-r swap, the clip will run around $2500-$3000 last time i checked on it(a little over a year ago). many tuners of the sr20 feel that the de version is better than the det btw for high hp turbo apps, has to do with the oil squirters and something else that likes to take a dump sometimes. feel free to check into that.

stillen makes a lot of parts but they're majorly overpriced. jim wolf has cams and valvetrain components. the car will be a monster if you want it to be.

oh, az the gti-r det is basically a redtop except its fwd. there is one difference that seems to want to be mentioned by me but i can't remember it for some reason right now.
