sorry but I will have to disagree with u here. The filter and the air horn obviously are the most important part for making power, but AEM specifically tunes the length and the size of the piping to creates a tuned frequency. U see engineers have found that certain frequency's at certain RPM create pulses which help push air into the cylinders for more effective cylinder filling. AEM is the only company that I know that is so exact on their intakes. Granted the pipe size and length only matter approximately about 3-4 HP or so, but every little bit helps.

Did anyone ever wonder why Chevy's fuel injection system on the 80's Camaro was called Tuned Port Injection???
