point being if you put a d16y7 ecu into a car with a b18c5 motor (providing the obd capadability was currect) it would not run as well without changing the ecu (or chip) to acomidate the new motor, getting back to my whole the ecus issued with twin cams ARE in fact differant...

The ecu isn't the chip... there would be no "changing the ecu" there would be re-chipping of your ecu... which is all hondata is...

A "chipped" ecu.

The ONLY ecu that hondata provides if you want one from them is a p28... or SOHC ecu.

And again... the differences between ecu's has NOTHING to do with the number of cams they have...

I'm not trying to be a jerk... but the EASIEST and BEST way to run a b18c5 in your car is to use the p28 and a chip... a sohc computer.
