17's are in no way 20's.
and mine arent chrome.

They are matched to stock size.

I also like JDM. But its overhyped now. Im jsut tryna make my car clean without being JDM. middle ground is fine by me. And hopefulyl after i got that b16 in the car ill have the speed to back up my rice.

for performance id say there are TWO key issues that keep me away from 17's

one.. obviously they are MUCH heavier...

two.. less sidewall

this means two things.. one.. rougher ride.. and more prone to rim damage..
it also translates into stiffer sidewall.. which equates to worse launches in drag racing..

and finaly without a body kit they look absolutely dumb on an econobox civic.. once again this is all mostly my opinion altho the tire info is factual..
