If I didnt use aux driving lights along with em I couldnt see squat. Now, that may have been because I was using an h3 bulb and couldve converted to an h5...but still...sucked |

no they arent brighter........they make the beam pattern of an HID kit much nicer though........but its not really as "bright" as the regular housing.

Note that those that say they suck have newer gen Civics.
92-92 have glass thicker than the Hubble. I swear light barely even escapes them. I got the projectors after one of the originals got busted and wish I'd done it a lot sooner. The stocks SUCK! |

I have Angel Eye projectors on my 95 and I like them. They are not brighter than stock or noticeably dimmer either. At first I thought they weren't as bright but it turns out I just needed to aim them a bit better-- now they are about equal to stock I'd say... and look about 100x better.

i have them too, mine are black, looks good on the car, however, most the halos don't work anymore, they all kinda fizzled out one by one, and now only one works. they were even on a fuse!
Heres a shot @ night: el cheapo apc bulbs, but they look decent and haven't burned out like the other ones i've tried. |

I just bought projecters for my 03, now I need new lights. What is the brightest I can put in there without burning up my harness?

i'd go for sylvania silverstars. i had those before i got the projectors. Unfortunately, i've been everywhere to find that they don't make h3 bulbs, so i can't use them in my projectors .
and for some reason the apc hyper brights have been working good, i haven't had any color loss or had them burn out on me. they've been in the car and used daily for the past 8 months now. pretty much all of the apc crap i've bought either didn't work or broke within the first week, so i'm not sure whats going on here. |
