you torch those nuts and you'd be suprised how easy they come off.. just get them glowing... as far as getting to the top nut...
either use 2 long extensions so you can get a bit more of an angle on it or if you have a universal joint it's WAY easy... My car has 155k and I've gotten all three bolts off and back on 2-3 times (everytime they needed to be torched).
