7th gears?
Do you think the 7th gears on manual tranny are a real?

I can't think of any street car that has 7 gears. Some cars like the S2000, RSX Type S, Camero SS, and MKIV Supra's come with 6 gears (foward) and 1 gear for reverse. They may be counting the reverse gear as well. But no car (that I can think of) has 7 foward gears.
-Ducky [Edit: Several European countries have or developing 7-speed trannies. I believe that the Ferrari Enzo comes with a 7 speed as well as a Bugatti. Mercedes released information about a 7-speed automatic and there are rumors about a 7-speed SMG gearbox being in the BMW M5 and M6.]

Some large trucks (Semis) have 7 speed transmissions.. Some even have more gears then that. :o

Yes I believe if someone sells or advetises a 7 gear tranny it IS in fact there.

yea school buses have 23. they have like 3 different reverse gears as well.

Hey i thought it was a rather entertaining movie, anyways doesnt the viper have 7 gears cuz i remember driving a car on gran turismo 3 that had 7 gears.

The Oracle Viper in GT3 has 7 gears, but the road going Viper RT/10, GTS, GTSR. ACR, etc... all had 6 gears.

how exactly would you shift a 7gear tranny... too many ... 6 would be hard enough.. i've never driven :o :o
